Girls' and boys' day at Sellhorn Ingenieurgesellschaft

On April 27th, we welcomed young people to our Hamburg office for Girls' and Boys' Day. As an engineering company, we shared our enthusiasm for civil engineering and particularly encouraged young women to take an interest in pursuing education or a career in this field.

We aimed to break down stereotypes and also gave young men the opportunity to discover the diversity of our profession. The students had the opportunity to explore various fields in an engineering office and gain valuable insights into practical tasks, such as drafting or civil engineering.

The highlight of the day was visiting a current Sellhorn project, where the students were fully equipped with safety vests, safety shoes, and the white Sellhorn safety helmet, and gained insight into the practical work of a civil engineer. It was a pleasure for us to provide the students with an exciting day and introduce them to the construction industry.

We believe that every individual deserves equal opportunities regardless of gender, background, or origin. For this reason, we participated in the action day to promote equal opportunities in our industry.
